We were contacted by the corporate office of a vice presidency at a multilateral bank for a consulting process to support a new team in consolidating its identity and strengthening its agenda, both operational and strategic. The challenge: align and organize the mission and vision, and review the priorities and work guidelines of a
team formed with the mandate to manage an ambitious agenda across 5 regional offices. After 6 months of initial work, we were asked for support to prepare and facilitate an in-person workshop to organize and strategically align the team.
The consulting involved a preparation stage, in which we interviewed each of the team members, to design a workshop in which the main gaps between the team’s current situation and desired situation could be addressed.
The workshop enabled a foundational milestone for the team: the mission and vision were defined, and progress was made toward various definitions and initiatives to organize the way they work both with each other and in relation to
their various internal clients. The output was grounded in team agreements and initiatives with owners and follow-up milestones. The workshop also served as a memorable moment in the collective history of a newly formed team.
The result: a team with identity and strategic clarity, and with a strengthened priority agenda and methodology.
